| Bio: | Hi! I have to admit, I'm not terribly fond of these bio boxes, but I suppose it must be done. Here goes! I am a second year linguistics student at the University of Calgary. My goal is to teach English as a second language. I started watching stargate a couple of years ago, but I only *just* got into the online fandom. I am amazed at the talent and creativity I fave found, and am excited to be part of it. I am not really a writer - I don't consider myself as such - but I do like to try my hand at a drabble every now and again. Strangely though, I love to edit! I always have. If you want a beta, I'd be glad to help! Hmm. I am a huge Jane Austen fan, and I slowly working my way through her novels. I only have Northanger Abby and Lady Susan left! (Also, I am of the opinion that the BBC version of p&p is absolutely the best one. I mean Colin Firth?? How can you possibly do better than that?!) I currently work at a small independant coffee shop. I have to say, I love the atmosphere, and it is facinating to get to know the regulars. Also, I love the coffee *grin* Anyway, I probably don't have the *most* interesting blog in the world, but it's mine, and I like it that way. I will try to post more often, now that I have all my classes figured out. I am excited to get to know all you interesting people out there, so feel free to friend me, if you like! | |
